The Dignity Diaries Podcast: Episode 01
We are thrilled to launch The Dignity Diaries, a new audio series that brings the voices of the unseen directly to your ears. For years, the NeedBe Foundation has documented the narratives of girls and communities across Ghana. Now, we are elevating these conversations through the power of sound.
Why a Podcast?
Menstrual health is often a topic relegated to whispers. By speaking openly, loudly, and with absolute dignity, we are claiming space in the cultural conversation. The Dignity Diaries features interviews with community leaders, health professionals, and the girls whose lives are being transformed by our interventions.
What to Expect
In our pilot episode, Samuel reflects on the genesis of the foundation and the incredible milestones achieved since 2014. We dive deep into:
- The challenges of launching a grassroots NGO in the Volta Region.
- The biological and cultural myths we are currently dismantling.
- Our vision for a Ghana where no girl misses school due to her period.
Join us on this journey. Subscribe to The Dignity Diaries and help us amplify the message of dignity.
